A Word from Diana….

Hello there.  I’m Diana A. Sulea.  I am a daughter, wife, mama to two amazing and adventurous boys and a mama lawyer.  I have been a practicing attorney since 2010.  Before then, I was an elementary school teacher and a summer volunteer at orphanages in Romania and Moldova. Bottom Line:  I have always had a love for children.

In 1987, my parents, brother and I emigrated to this awesome land of opportunity during the communist days of Chausecu.  I developed a love for children, upon my first visit back home in 1994.  My parents brought me to a small orphanage in Arad and my mother stated boldly that I would one day work and help make children’s lives better.  I just looked at her in awe…  Little did I know that in 1995 and every summer thereafter, my heart would call me back to the land of Romania and Moldova to work with abandoned and underprivileged children at orphanages in Romania and Moldodva.  After graduating high school in 1997, I attended Florida Atlantic University, where I graduated with honors and became an elementary school teacher. Thereafter, I taught 4th and 5th grade at Hollywood Hills Elementary School.  In 2007, I went back to law school with the intent to do adoption law and in 2010 graduated with honors.  I worked as an attorney in the public sector as a prosecutor in the juvenile courts and misdemeanor.  I also worked in the private sector as in the areas of real estate and family law.

Today, after having two children of my own, I realized the importance of protecting my most precious assets, my boys, and the legacy, impact and influence I am leaving to them.  What am I leaving behind?  What will my children know me for?  What will be left of me, after my body is gone?  Questions like these run around us daily, but once you become a parent, it hits you straight in the face demanding an immediate answer and/or action.  And so my passion for protecting children reignited and a new passion with a twist emerged, my love for children with my legal degree flourished into estate planning for parents with minor children suddenly awakened within me. I embarked on a journey of protecting our most valuable assets:  Our Children, our grandchildren. I realized that more than 70% do not have a Kids Protection Plan in place, nor a simple estate plan.

Few people are busier than parents with young children.  My goal is to equip parents with the information and resources they need to make the best decisions they can for their loved ones.  Decisions that they, as parents should be making, and not a stranger in a black robe, who only knows your family by a case number.  Remember, if you don’t have a plan, the state has one for you.  Is that who you want deciding what happens with everything you love and have built over a lifetime?!

Every family is unique, and my goal is to be your trusted advisor who helps you make the very best personal, financial and legal decisions for your family throughout your lifetime.  Decisions that will come to life and impact after your life here has ended.  I want to not just help you now, but also when you can’t be there so that I can help guide your loved ones through a difficult process.

Bottom line:  The purpose of my law practice today is to help you achieve peace of mind and help families avoid collapse after the death or disability of a loved one.  I want to help you create your legacy, a legacy not only worth leaving but worth inheriting.
